Classes are half an hour.
Classes can be private or in small groups of 2-3 people depending on experience levels. Classes can be booked for a term or in packs of 5 pre-booked sessions. Why should you learn to swim? Swimming is an important skill for everyone. However, if you didn't have the opportunity to learn as a child, don't believe that you are too old to start, because it is not true. Learning to swim as an adult, brings positive changes in your physical and mental health by practicing it regularly. |

Some of these benefits are:
- Since swimming is an aerobic activity, you will improve your cardiovascular system, reducing the risk of heart-related issues. Also, it will help to lose weight and reduce high blood pressure.
- Swimming is a low-impact exercise, which protects your joints, knees, ankles and feet from any injuries. At the same time, is a full-body workout that strengthens your back, and core, and improves your flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Swimming is a great stress reliever. In the water, you can experience relaxation, decreasing anxiety and depression. You will feel calm, which helps to clear your mind and improve your focus and concentration.
- Learning basic safe swimming skills such as floating, paddling, and water-treading will prevent drowning. In Australia, 57 per cent of adults 45 years or older represented 2022/23 drowning deaths (Royal Life Saving Australia, National Drowning Report, 2023).
- Knowing how to swim increases self-confidence, allowing participation in water-related activities, and improving social interaction. It will also, bring more possibilities to spend time with your loved ones.

ADULT SWIM CLASS LEVELS
KICK offers 3 levels for Adult Swimming Lessons: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
We also offer Private Lessons for anyone looking to refine specific skills.

Beginner - Adult
Designed for kids 13+ to adults. This level is for beginners, complete non-swimmers, as well as those just wishing to develop familiarisation with water, safety and survival skills.

- Moving through water more efficiently
- Comfortable breath control
- Understanding of buoyancy and submersion
Intermediate - Adult
Designed for kids 13+ to adults who want to develop their freestyle and backstroke with drills that work on mastering your breathing and kicking techniques over 12-17 metres at a time.
Intermediate Level builds on Beginner skils and develops:

- Basic skills with correct breathing techniques, floating, kicking and coordinating movements.
- An introduction to freestyle and Backstroke.
- Introduction breaststroke and butterfly kick.
- The drills and skills provided in this class allow you to work towards improving your lap swimming capabilities.
Advanced - Adult
Designed for kids 13+ to adults who want to correct swimming technique and develop fitness. We assist with individually refining all 4 strokes in a squads-based environment using basic drills.
Private - Adult
Private lessons are available for all skill levels and are a great option for those looking to progress or refine skills quickly.
