1) Can I claim a rebate from my private health fund
Yes, in most cases, if you have extras cover and are covered for physiotherapy &/or exercise physiology.
2) Why do I need an assessment to join the kick rehabilitation program AND DO I NEED A DOCTORS REFERRAL?
The assessment enables us to set up the most beneficial exercise program for your medical & physical needs.
You DO NOT need a referral from your doctor for our rehab program, however we would like your doctor to be aware that you are starting with us to ensure there are no contraindications to you exercising in water. If you wish we will keep your doctor informed of your progress throughout your rehabilitation journey.
3) WHERE CAN I BE ASSESSED?
You can be assessed by Katherine Williamson, our Physiotherapist directly at the pool (via appointment).
If you have been referred by a doctor, physio, exercise physiologist or other health professional please send your referral directly to hydrotherapy@kickswim.com.au
4) Who can refer me to the rehabilitation program?
Whilst referrals are not essential, any health professional can refer you, and we are more than happy to work in conjunction with them to achieve your treatment goals.
5) Who is the kick rehabilitation program not suitable for?
People with:
